Itinerary
Kilimanjaro International Airport Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the Trust Wilderness Adventures team. They will then drive you to the Lodge. This attractive little town is conveniently situated beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro.
The Serengeti National Park, meaning “endless plains” in the Masai language, is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas. Furthermore, it serves as an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, filmmakers, and photographers. To enhance your experience, plan beautiful days exploring the wild with your lodge manager and ranger. Enjoy twice-daily game drives, complete with stunning sunrise and sundowner stops. Alternatively, you can take a full-day game drive and relish a delicious picnic.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and a half-day wildlife game viewing. Then, we depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en route. Driving Distance: 145 / km (2 hrs)
This morning, descend into the Crater, arriving ahead of most visitors—thanks to your accommodations’ ideal location on the Crater’s rim—to view the resident wildlife at its most active. Moreover, take advantage of this early arrival to capture stunning wildlife photographs and enjoy a more intimate experience.
